This role’s main focus will be supporting the HR Manager with Learning & Development and Recruitment.

Main responsibilities of the HR Assistant​​​​​​​ include:

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist with job posting, candidate sourcing, and initial screening.
    • Co-ordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders.
    • Maintain the applicant tracking system and recruitment records.
  • Training & Development
    • Support with sourcing and booking training.
    • Create and maintain accurate records of all training undertaken.
    • Provide reports on training completed.
    • Assist with CITB claims for training.

  • Compliance and Reporting

  • General Administrative Support

Our ideal HR Assistant​​​​​​​ will have the below skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of discretion and respect for confidentiality

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a busy HR team
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience using COINS
